wordpress themes - chaning

I was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone today! I am glad that we
were able to get wordpress installed for you, and I think now you will be
able to do your own installation using the one-click installer in the
future!

As for modifying the CSS in wordpress, it all depends upon what theme you
are using as to where you go to do that. There is an *excellent* guide to
modifying the look of wordpress, and using themes, on the wordpress codex
("code exchange"). Just some of the relevant sections there include:

You can change themes (whole themes, or individual sections of any
selected theme) from the "Appearance" menu on the left side of the admin
section screen.

1) From the dashboard, to directly edit parts of a themes (including
inline CSS) select the "Appearance -> Editor" link, and you will taken to
an editor where you can modify each section of the current theme, and the
CSS stylesheets.

2) You can prevent comments from being allowed on any article/post (every
post) when you create the article - it is an option in the article/post
management section.


I am sorry you are finding this difficult to do, but once you take the
time to understand how it all works, I think it is easier than blogger,
and is much more powerful.

6. We now install over FIFTY weblog themes for you to choose from for
the look of your site! To choose them, log into the admin area, and
click the "Presentation" tab!

7. ALSO, we now AUTO-INSTALL "wp-cache" plugin to make your blog super-
fast and awesome! One thing though.. with this enabled new posts take
a while to appear on your site. If you make a post and it doesn't appear
right away, you can force it to come up by going to the "Options > WP-Cache"
area and clicking "Delete cache"!
